I haven’t used my E-PM1 for a while but I brought it out to take a picture of my new Gordy’s strap on my Olympus OMD. Danbo is in back of the OMD trying to figure out the settings. I used the Olympus 60mm macro and a Metz 58AF flash bounced off the ceilling.
Went to Portland over the weekend to shoot the CABA Classic Alpaca Show. Here’s one of my shots taken with the Olympus E-PM1 + 12mm F2. Ain’t he cute?
Went on a photostroll with a couple of other photogs to the Volunteer Park Conservatory in Seattle. The cactus room was my favorite spot. There were a ton of different varieties of cacti in all shapes and sizes. More photos from the stroll can be found in my Flickr Set.
Had dinner at Duvall Grill the other day. This was the Blue Bacon Burger with Misty Isle All Natural Black Angus, Hempler’s Bacon, crumbled blue cheese, blue cheese dressing, lettuce, pickles and tomato on a Snohomish Bakery bun with sweet potato fries and chipotle aioli.
Great shot by PEN Ready participant Paula Thomas (camera #929)
This is what I had for lunch today: left over roasted chicken and salted baked kale chips. I just love kale chips. Since I don’t eat potato chips anymore this is a good healthy alternative. I posted a recipe for kale chips on Gapey’s Grub earlier this year.
This is my last post for the October Pen Ready project. I enjoyed my experience with the E-PM1 and will continue to use it as a carry around camera when I don’t want to lug around my E-5. I will continue posting my photos on my Flickr stream.
I went to PCC the other day and they had a display of organic, all-natural halloween candy so decided to pick up a couple of bags. I got some yummy looking dark chocolate and some gummy bears made from organic juice, packed with lots of Vitamin C.
I hope I have more trick or treaters this year than last year to get rid of it. I only had maybe 10 kids show up last year. Maybe I will give more out to each one.
